Cooper Closes Namura Acquisition
VANCOUVER, January 5, 2007 - Further to Cooper Minerals
Inc.'s news release in Stockwatch dated July 25, 2006, the company
has closed its transaction with the shareholders of Namura Finland
Oy to acquire a 100-per-cent interest in the capital stock of Namura
and the company has issued six million shares at a deemed price of
34 cents per share. In respect of any shares issued or issuable
pursuant to the foregoing securities, a hold period with an expiry
date of May 3, 2007, applies.
