Cooper Minerals Agreement for Great Bear Claims Accepted by TSX Venture Exchange

The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for expedited filing documentation pertaining to a purchase agreement dated Nov. 12, 2007, between Cooper Minerals Inc. and the vendors, Kalac Holdings Ltd. (Mackenzie Jaims), Mountain Island Exploration Ltd. (Trevor Teed and Joanne Teed), and Frontier Asset Management Ltd. (Denis Hayes), pursuant to which Cooper Minerals may acquire a 100-per-cent interest in 131 claims totaling 306,027 acres in the Great Bear area of the Northwest Territories. In consideration, the company will pay $900,000 and issue four million shares. The property is subject to a 2.5-per-cent net smelter return royalty of which up to 1.5 per cent may be purchased for $2-million.
